What's the difference between DTF and screen printing?

DTF prints unlimited colors and fine detail with no per-color setup cost and no minimum order, which makes it the better fit for photorealistic art, gradients, or small runs. Screen printing becomes more cost-effective once you’re past roughly 144 pieces of a simple, few-color design.

Can DTF print on dark shirts?

Yes. DTF transfers include their own white layer built into the print, so colors stay vibrant on dark garments without any extra setup or added cost, unlike some other printing methods that need a separate white underbase step.

Will the print crack over time?

No, not with normal wear and proper care. DTF transfers flex with the fabric instead of sitting rigidly on top of it, which is why we recommend it over screen printing for athletic wear, stretch fabrics, and anything that gets washed and worn heavily.

How fast can I get a single sample printed?

Yes. There’s no minimum order for DTF printing, so a single sample or a small gift order gets the same quality as a bulk run, just at a higher per-piece price. Most single-piece samples ship in 3 to 5 business days.
